December saw the return of the ever popular Chris Helme, a local historian, who delivered a seasonal presentation entitled, “Memories of Christmas Past.” All those who attended this festive gathering had the added advantage of participating in our free raffle. Many thanks to all who kindly donated prizes.
The November’s talk with the Reverend Colin Sherwood entitled “There’s Nowt So Queer As Folk!” was, as expected, both lively and informative. Some new members attended this event and were made welcome by the society.
The Summer 2019 Programme can be read on the Syllabus page and on the News page.
Members, old and new, will be very welcome at any of our meetings, excursions and events.
